

Give these one-bite-wonders a little bit of extra bling by painting them with edible gold glitter!
You will need:
1/2 cup heavy cream
227g semisweet chocolate coarsely chopped
1/4 cup plus 1 Tablespoon Champagne
1 tablespoon Cognac
Cocoa powder for rolling
Edible gold powder from here
Instructions:
1.Boil the cream in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Right when it starts boiling pour cream over the chocolate in a bowl; stir until smooth. Stir in the Champagne and Cognac. Refrigerate until chocolate mixture is hard enough to roll into balls, about 1 hour.
2.Form 1,5cm balls. Roll each ball in cacao powder, and transfer to baking sheets lined with parchment paper. Take a little bit of gold powder, mix it with a tiny bit of water and you get golden paint. Start painting your motives on to the truffles. Good to have a steady hand!
3.Refrigerate truffles at least 30 minutes before serving.
